Decided to start fresh with this blog,
So where to begin?
How about with the basics?
I'm Tanya and I'm 19 (and no i'm not in denial) 21 years old. I honestly don't know how I came to be 21 already, like literally yesterday I was so excited to be turning 18. (Finally legal and all that nonsense) .. Its safe to say there was no such excitement about turning 21. More like serious depression. The only really good thing about turning 21 is that I can now go off to America and go out drinking and clubbing.. nothing else!
I'm a full time student at university in my third year studying Marketing and I can honestly say that uni stresses me out to no end. Whoever said uni life was an easy life was lying! I mean sure getting discounts everywhere on everything is great and you get a lot of time off.. but the work is hard. like so HARD, no one tells you just how hard it is. and its so stressful and I know that I'm far too young to be so stressed.. but I am, like all the time. Anyone currently at uni in either third or fourth year can totally relate! And I mentioned time off, but all that time off is spent either working or doing uni work (when i say doing uni work, what i actually mean is binge watching Netflix and feeling guilty about all the uni work i'm supposed to be doing).
I also work part time in Superdry. i'm a sales assistant, but last summer i got a small, i guess promotion? which means that i'm at a higher level that most of the other sales assistant. This means i have more responsibility, a higher contract and most importantly.. I get paid more!! The job is pretty good compared to the other ones I've had, the work is pretty straight forward and I'm actually really good at it. (just last week my supervisor told me that i was one of the best staff in the shop.. Gold star for Tanya!!) I guess it can get a little monotonous and dealing with people all day can get frustrating, especially when i'm not in the mood or the customers are annoying/stupid/rude. Basically, its not my forever job, but its pretty good for right now.
In my spare time i tend to watch A LOT of Netflix (like i probably spend too much of my free time watching Netflix, but how can i help it when there's so many good shows on it, i'd like to meet someone who doesn't watch Netflix!) or i shop... actually i SHOP!!. Shopping is a bad seriously bad habit of mine, its the one thing that can always cheer me up. I love spending money and coming home with gorgeous new things. especially shoes! Shoes are my addiction.. It doesn't really matter what kind, i just love to buy shoes (trainers, pumps, heels, boots, whatever) and i probably buy at least one new pair a month minimum.. I actually don't know how many shoes i own, i just know its A LOT!!
anyway, i think that's enough about me for right now.
blog to you soon
xoxo
